Waxing technique

Two different techniques are used depending on the area of the body, as each technique has its advantages and disadvantages:

1st Brazilian technique with film wax

The warm wax is applied to the skin area with a wooden spatula and, after a short cooling phase, quickly removed in the opposite direction to the direction of hair growth, removing the hair along with the root.
Immediately afterwards, the area is pressed with the hand to reduce the unpleasant feeling, which is particularly beneficial for sensitive body areas such as intimate areas.
At the end of the treatment, a skin-soothing aloe vera gel is applied.

This method is suitable for all parts of the body, but especially for the genital area of both sexes, as this area is supplied with many nerves.
In contrast to sugar paste and warm wax, the film wax does NOT stick to the skin, but only bonds with the hair, making it a much gentler method.

2. roll-on technique with warm wax and fleece strips

The warm wax is applied to the skin area using a wax cartridge in a holder.
Immediately afterwards, a fleece strip is pressed on and pulled off together with the wax, removing the hair at the root.
As the warm wax in particular leaves a sticky film on the skin, the skin is cleansed afterwards with a natural and organic oil, which also contains tea tree oil.
At the end of the treatment, a skin-soothing aloe vera gel is applied.

This method is suitable for all parts of the body, EXCEPT the face, armpits, genital area and buttocks, as warm wax is stronger than film wax.
It can cause long-lasting redness/hives on the face, irritation of the skin in the armpit area and damage to the mucous membrane in the genital area.
The advantage of this method, however, is the rapid depilation of large areas (e.g. back/legs) and also the thorough removal of finer hairs.

After both techniques, it may be necessary to rework with the tweezers if hair has only grown a few days ago and is therefore not long enough or the roots are too strong for the wax.
In rare cases, especially with thicker hair, treatment in the armpits and genital area may result in minimal bleeding.
– In rare cases, especially with thicker hair, minimal blood droplets may occur during treatment in the armpits and genital area, as each hair bulb (commonly known as a hair root) is connected to a blood vessel.
In this case, the skin is treated with a skin antiseptic and only then is a skin-soothing aloe vera gel applied.

On request, I can remove individual ingrown hairs with a sterile lancet.
For larger areas of ingrown hairs, a separate cleansing appointment must be booked.
The cost per minute is €1.
Appointments usually last 10 to 15 minutes.

……..and last but not least:

I do NOT use the suggaring / flicking / shaba technique, as this is too painful for most hair types and very time-consuming for larger areas.
